Digital Filmmaking - Kareem Koh
Kareem Koh has been working in the media industry for more than 10 years. What started out as just an interest turned into a career, as he discovered he had a knack for it serving in the media ministry in church (those years staring at the TV and going to the cinema help too!). After graduating and working for an engineer for 2 years, he realized that it was time for him to step out and pursue his dream of making films.
He has since studied Producing at Ngee Ann Polytechnic’s (Singapore) Advanced Diploma in Film Production and Cinematography at University of Southern California’s Summer Film Program. He has also garnered a fair amount of experience in many aspects of film making, having worked in various capacities on corporate and music videos, personal shorts and also in a feature film: as Assistant Director of 2009’s “Sell Out!” by Yeo Joon Han. He has also lectured in Life College, is a regular workshop trainer at the yearly LiveWire! Media Conference and SilentShout! Workshop (teaching the deaf) and also conducts workshops for his church.
