Dr. Alex & Lois Koh
Dr. Alex Koh received his engineering bachelor’s from the University of South Australia, engineering master’s from the University of Texas at Austin, and business doctorate from the University of Manchester. Most recently, he was a corporate strategist for Freescale Semiconductor (previously Motorola) in Austin, Texas. Prior to that, he served as general manager of Freescale China’s Design Center where he focused on R&D operations, paving roads to new market opportunities in China. Alex has been in the high tech industry for over twenty years. He is presently pursuing training at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary.
Lois Koh received her master’s and bachelor’s degrees from the University of Texas at Austin. Her corporate work experience encompasses the chemical, semiconductor, and pharmaceutical industries. God has provided her with divinely appointed opportunities to weave in and out of the corporate world, allowing her time to be home with her children, and to pursue other interests. These days, most of her time is spent homeschooling the Kohs’ two children.
God has given the Kohs a heart for the nations. Combining countries that they and/or their parents have settled and resettled in, the list includes Malaysia (East and West), Australia, Canada, Indonesia, China, Britain, and the USA. Alex and Lois have been married since 1996. As a family with children, they have lived in the USA, China, and Malaysia. Currently, they live with their children, Rachel and Timothy, in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia. Together, they desire to offer their entire beings to the Lord, to share His love with others, and to enjoy the beauty of His glorious presence, wherever He leads.
